Hello, my name is Luz and I am a Target Shopaholic. It probably doesn’t help that their toddler selection has gotten extra adorable lately and well, I can’t say no to things for my little one. This past month I did a little damage at Target and picked up several items for Nick. Some were necessities while others were “just because” items.
Here you will find a haul of what Nick and I picked up this past month at Target. I would include items I picked up for myself, but the truth is that minus toiletries and groceries, I did not pick up anything for myself (#MotherLife).
- Woody Cowboy Boots: In case you missed my last post, Nick has decided to be Woody from Toy Story this Halloween. (You can find that post here.) I had my husband decide between a pair I had seen at the Disney Store or these. He chose these since the other ones didn’t have a hard bottom. He also thought Nick would get more use of these, well as much use as a 1 year old can get out of cowboy boots haha. Nick is currently wearing a size 5 but I decided to get him a size 6 in these since he does have a chubby foot and I want him to be able to wear them for a couple months.
- Dino PJ’s: For those of you who live in Southern California, remember about three weeks ago when we thought fall weather was starting early? We had about a week of cool weather, even rain. Well, my husband and I ran frantically to Target because Nick did not have cold weather pajamas that fit him. Since he doesn’t like blankets he woke up in the middle of the night a couple of days because he was cold. He chose these adorable dinosaur pajamas. In retrospect, I wish I would have gotten him 2T instead of 18 Months. I sometimes underestimate how big my little boy is.
- Mickey Mouse T-Shirt: I usually save Nick’s Disney attire for days we visit the land of the mouse. I had been eyeing this little shirt for a while now but held back. I keep on telling myself, “You cannot buy everything you see with Mickey on it.” During a recent trip I finally found it on sale and could not let it go. I may be more excited than Nick about it haha.
- Mickey Halloween T-Shirt: In the spirit of Halloween, I also picked up this adorable glow in the dark shirt. I thought it was perfect for our Disney adventures towards the end of October. Or just to hang around at the house. Don’t worry, I’m the first one to admit that I may have a problem haha.
- Slip on Sneakers: I had been wanting this style of shoes for a while now. The original style I had seen were from a brand by the name of Native Shoes. While they were adorable, they were about $40 and I believe made of rubber. While I was looking for the cowboy boots I came upon these from Cat & Jack for Target for just $15. I decided to give them a try. So far they have been pretty good. They are easy to put on and seem to be comfortable for Nick. Maybe next summer I will buy the Native Shoes style since then Nick won’t be moving up sizes like crazy.
- Llama Sweatshirt: Have I told you how in love I am with the Cat & Jack collection at Target? I saw this adorable sweatshirt and just had to get it for my little one. Best part about it? It was only $5.00 regular price. Although not too thick it is perfect for California weather. Once it starts to rain, it is perfect for Nick to wear under his raincoat. I have a feeling that my little one’s closet will soon be filled with more Cat & Jack. Who else is in love with the brand?
Is anyone else addicted to Target? *Raise your hands* I would love to see what you pick up at Target, do share your finds!
XOXO -L.
Nick of course decided that when I was taking pictures was the best time to find interest in his new stuff.
how cute!! Girl I am Target obsessed to and I think my daughter is too now. We haven’t been to Target in a little while and she said can we go to Target we haven’t been there in a while. lol
Haha, that’s great. At least she supports your habit.
I’m REALLY proud of myself when I go into Target and only get one thing (only happened twice) and only get what’s on my list (probably also those two times)!
It cannot happen. I think the only time I’ve done that was when my little one was a newborn and I had dropped off my mom at work early so I was tired and just went in for diapers.
Target is a trap! Everytime I go there I spend way to much and find more and more things that I “need!” LOL…great haul though, mama – love it!
Lol, but you need everything at Target haha. It sucks you in.
I am raising my hand high! Our Target moved the dollar section smack in the middle of the entrance. Now I can’t physically avoid it and ended up buying some things of course! Back to super target where I can go in the grocery side safely. Love the Woody boots!
All the targets here have it right as you enter. I find myself just grabbing things because they’re “inexpensive” but then I spend more than I should have. The boots are great, I can’t wait for him to wear them.
Woody is so cute!!
I can’t wait for him to wear them.
Ah, Target…every Mom’s vacation spot! Speaking of which, Im due!
LOL I’m going to try to stay away from there in October. I went yesterday and my husband and I walked around but didn’t end up buying anything just popcorn from their cafe lol.
What a cute haul! I am in need of my mommycation to Target! Especially now that I see these woody boots!
There are also some light up boots that look the same but with lights. I don’t know if target carries them but I saw them on the Kohl’s website.
